Graduate School Admission Results

To the poster below - I did receive an acceptance from URI but it was a few days after other people had posted that they were also accepted. I'm not sure if they are sending them out in waves. I have decided that I will be rejecting my acceptance. They are on spring break this week but was told the most of the SLP staff will be in the office so you could possibly try to contact them and ask them if they have sent out all the acceptances yet

Contacted the director of the program a month ago, was notified that the graduate school has not yet provided resources to the department. I'm wondering if I'll ever get a rejection or waitlist email? There are a lot of red flags in regards to how unorganized this program is. It's making me reconsider if I really want to go to grad school here. This is also with being in frequent contact with prospective PI.

I had to email the chair to find out I was rejected. Not surprised though already accepted another offer.

Anyone who was admitted to URI, did you obtain an official offer letter that came with a deadline for when you must accept/decline the offer? If so, when is that deadline

Email to check website. Doubtful I will receive funding.

I received the NSERC PGS-D on April 17, 2025. Where I received 120 000 over the next 36 months of my doctoral program.

2.5 years of industry experience at acceptance date

No information on funding yet. No response from professors emailed also.

Professor interviewed me twice to test my research and technical abilities. After a week, I received the acceptance call.

Late interview on 6Apr, but got acceptance right after the interview.
