Graduate School Admission Results

Please has anyone heard back from the Mathematical and statistical science department as regards to admission into the Statistical machine learning program?

To the OP below, I too have been waiting for a response. It's been 5 months since I've applied (still pre-screening) and whenever I ask them about any update, they just say that It's under review and that I keep checking my portal for further updates. :/ I don't think I'll get through, even march has ended but I haven't seen anyone (here) getting an admit for this course as yet so I don't know what to so. So irritated and helpless.

To the OP below, my application is still under review, it's frustrating because most schools have already given admission decisions.Although UoA says the admission was on a rolling basis, I still don't understand how the process works. If it is on a rolling basis then the decisions should be out in a couple of weeks at most. Please can you share your stats (cgpa, experience, publications) ? What department did you send your application to? Did you contact any professors prior to applying?

Who else is still hoping to hear from Alberta on the Statistical Machine Learning program? What department did you apply to?

I applied to Math and Stat Dep. as well, haven’t heard anything till now. I emailed them couple of days ago and they said that they are in the reviewing process and it may vary in time, so they don’t have exact dates.
