Graduate School Admission Results

TTPB - congratulations, did you get accepted to the MS or MEng program? Also, did you apply to the PhD program or directly to masters?

Got email I was recommended for admission from the department. Should receive official email in next the few days.

TTPB: I think I was talking about people who had been interviewed and are expecting offers. Anyways, I hope for the best.

A little unexpected, this was a safety school for me...not sure how many people were admitted this year. It's a very small program.

TTPB: I also had to contact the department and was similarly told that if I hadn't been asked to interview, I would most likely not get an offer. Poster below is not trolling, I do think the department or certain staff members may be giving different answers. I got this response over email about three weeks ago.

Got emailed by a PI who is conducting research in my field of interest for a zoom interview!

Has anyone heard anything from the program yet?

TTPsB who received the virtual event invitation: I think it's more like an advertising email, as everyone I know who has applied for UPenn BioE has received that email today...

TTPB: I don't think anyone has heard back yet after interviews... does anyone know when we might?

Interviewed on Jan 28/29. Still no answer... so I guess it's not :(

Invited to interview. International student. 2 years of industry experience. +4 years of academic experience/several research projects. Several awards. Paper and patent.

It's so weird that they are still rolling out interview invites when the first batch of interviews are happening (today!). Maybe it's because I'm already at Penn but there is still hope for others!
