To the Barcelona GSE admit below, did you apply before the January 15 preference for funding deadline?

Not going to this program with poor funding anyway.

rejected from the first choice - Ph.D. track in econ (likely due to my poor GRE scores), and accepted to third-choice: Masters in Finance with 50 percent tuition waiver.

TPB: I also got the open day email from the waitlist. I think last year they sent this email to over 200 people. That said... did you actually get the microsoft forms link? I think he forgot to send it.

Was waitlisted by UVA yesterday (already posted). Received an invite to the open house today. Did other waitlists receive this invite? I remember there being some insight to be gleaned from open house invites last year.

I got accepted to their MS applied economics program. They offered me $35K funding includes one-year RAship.

Received an email yesterday that my application status had been changed but the change only showed up today. Was expecting a rejection from them because of how selective they are but still hurts.

Invited for the Second Interview in 2 days

Interesting email. It is not like a waitlist, nor like acceptance (definitely) or rejection. The email is as follows: "The admissions committee of the Graduate Program has not reached a decision on your application yet. We will keep you informed on any change in your situation."

Super nice email! Funding for a first year is a bit weird, as has been mentioned by the poster below.
