Will be turning it down, hope this helps someone on the waitlist!

DGS reached out with an offer but wanted to know if I'd already accepted another. I informed them I've already accepted an offer.

Had interview in late Jan. Checked on website. No email yet or information about funding. Anyone happen to know PhD funding situation at Rutgers?

Am I the only one who hasn't heard anything from Rutergers-Camden? I know some people are accpeted/waitlisted, anyone been rejected yet?

Letter delivered to my house on the 8th, dated the 5th. When I last checked the status portal on the 6th it was marked as no decision. No funding info in the letter.

Logged into the portal to see status changed to “you have been placed on a waiting list.” No further info yet provided.

Logged into the portal to see a rejection within 5 minutes of the waitlist notification from Rutgers-Newark. No email.

Randomly checked the portal: Your application has been reviewed, and the Committee has denied admission.

I already got MS from a top40. GPA 3.6 1. RU system separated since 2012, Camden is an independent university now. 2. They first tell me got admitted but need to pay my own visiting travel. After I booked everything, they tell me PHD admission became MS admission. Very aweful management. Their admin admitted their problems but no rebursement at all. 3. I denied their MS offer also since I got admitted into another PHD program.
