MS in CS: Scientific Computing. Email contained the acceptance itself. I'm international, 3-year Stats degree from Australia, 1+ year work exp in data science, 1 paper, some decent projects, 1 LoR from research supervisor, 1 from prof, 1 from manager (wouldn't say my LoRs are strong but they're decent). Didn't get the 10k scholarship but will try to apply for TA/RA positions, Rutgers is very affordable compared to other programs. To those applying to CS programs without a CS background and a 3-year bachelor, have faith, someone will see your potential! |
