Graduate School Admission Results

Many thanks to the below poster. :) Well I received my B.Sc in computer engineering with a 3.0 GPA. I had several experiences in robotics competitions since high school and 2 years of working experience as a developer, so my programming skills are not bad. During last year of my undergraduate I was a member of a team working on a cosmological research project, my job in there was mostly related to ML and I received strong LORs from this experience.

Unfortunately, we could admit only a fraction of the applicants, even though many more had strong qualifications. You will be notified separately by each program to which you have applied.

To the below poster with admission in ML, which department did you apply for Machine Learning among ECE, ISYE, CS, etc?

To answer the person below's question, I applied into the School of Interactive Computing which I believe houses both the CS PhD and ML PhD programs.

We regret to inform you that you have not been selected as a candidate for the Master of Artificial Intelligence and Innovation (MSAII) program for Fall 2020. We received a very large number of applications this year, which made the admissions decision very difficult. With only 35 spaces available, we were forced to reject numerous qualified applicants. If you have applied to other programs within the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon, you will receive a response from each program to which you have applied. I called them weeks ago and they said results would come out late February... So does anyone got decisions? Plz plz let us know
