Prelim interview (POI: MH)

I agree with the poster below. It was the weekend after New Years Days + this year the probably have more applications to review, that would definitely NOT advance the deadline.

To the person who got admitted into PhD Psychology at Harvard, you just got an acceptance letter:? No interview? Also, could you share your POI initials? Thank you

To the user who posted about Harvard: A fellow RA in a lab at Harvard told me a few weeks ago that the PI in our lab doesn't do pre-interviews, or even formal interviews - they just offer admittance after reviewing applicants - seemed unlikely to me, but this person applied to the doc program before, and has been an RA in this lab for a while, so it seems they would be privy.

Has anyone heard back from Harvard? Informal interviews or anything?

No interview, expected. Applied to KM, JW, and JH. I wonder if any of them were taking students, as I have not seen acceptances/interviews from them.

Email to check application portal. Just wondering if one's age automatically precludes them from PhD programs in these elite universities. I am 35+ & trying to get back to school after a gap of almost 15 years.

Any Psychology applicants who have received rejection emails from Harvard? I am pretty sure I am on the reject list. Wonder what's taking them so long to formally let me know! All acceptances/rejections go out this week, apparently.

TTPB: I also have interviews with both of them in January. However, I have not heard anything about their final decisions. It seems that unofficial offers have been extended .

Cognitive track POI emailed me today, said official letters should go out next week. Very happy.
