B.S in Chemistry '23 M.S in Biotechnology '24 4 Semesters of research (Chemistry Literature Review and Organic Chemistry Lab Research)

direct communication from department, except the email i received said that the dept rarely accepts terminal MA students. i didn't apply for a terminal MA, i applied for a PhD so I'm confused lol. it was a rejection regardles.

I'm just going to assume it's a rejection since the deadline to commit to a program is tomorrow. I never received a decision. I even reached out directly to the department and never got a response. Not really what I was expecting from such a high-caliber program, especially since I was applying to the Bronze Age archaeology track, which is one of the best in the world. Very disappointed that they couldn't be bothered to let me know either way. Anyway, GPA is master's. I have multiple publications, multiple international conference presentations, I'm currently a lecturer in Classics at a university, and I have several years of field experience. Pretty bummed at this season's results. 0a/12r/0w/0p

IGNORE STATUS. i'm fully expecting a rejection, but has anyone heard anything at all from Cincinnati?? the deadline for committing to a program is in one week and I've heard nothing.

I've been waitlisted at UC for a month or so now... anyone w/ accepted offers here planning on accepting/rejecting them? :) So difficult trying to gauge admission chances being on the waitlst!!!

**Ignore Status** Has anyone heard back since interview day on Feb 9th? I've been in contact with my potential PI a few times since then, but last I spoke to them they didn't know when I'd next hear an update.

GPA is grad. IR subfield. Got an email with a docusign link. Likely will decline due to a better offer.

Notified of interview on Dec 18th, interviewed with PI and one grad student on Jan 22nd. Notified of waitlist on Feb 1st. Currently a Senior completing my undergrad in psych, 3.43 GPA, completed 1 REU internship, around 500+ research hours across 2 labs, in an undergrad fellowship. Believe I was rejected because I wasn't a good fit

Prior masters degrees with 3.7 graduate GPAs from state school. 20+ years of significant, prestigious, directly related experience. Letters of recommendation from Fortune 25 organization executive leaders. Material business development within current role and other colleges in the same university. Has an office inside a different college within the same university. Didn't even get an interview.
