Dream school. No strong background, so didn't expect much.

To the post below, when did you receive Boragan's email? And did they notify you on the waitlist before?

Rejected after 10 days of submitting the application. US Master's (Applied Econ) - GPA 3.89, 2.5 years RA, 1.5 years TA, strong references. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement.

GRE not submitted. Rejection expected. Much worse profile than the average applicant such as the previous poster.

To the poster below who was admitted with funding, congrats! What date did you apply and what are your stats? Thanks!

Canadian student. Accepted on condition of 3.75/4. Funding decisions to come with college placement. Absolutely thrilled, but weary of taking on too much debt.

Didn't get in despite having a solid first and relevant work experience- think having a lack of a fully formed dissertation proposal (despite this being a taught masters) let me down, as others seemed to have gone into depth about it in their PS where I did not!

One of 86 accepted by department, e-mail said graduate school needs to accept as well but did not indicate that this was unlikely. I know the program offers some fellowships, no word on that. I hope that funding information might come when the graduate program formally accepts me.

To the post below, I thought I was admitted, but now I got confused too. My e-mail says I placed among top applicants and the department keep in touch with me to discuss the graduate studies. Am I accepted or on the waiting list?
