Admitted without funding. No way.

Notified of acceptance by the department, status changed to GAO

Email to check the website... Applied to Ph.D. but offered MA with 50% reduced tuition fees... not going for an unfunded master. Disappointment.

To poster below. I was considering applying to the New School PhD program but after looking at the website more closely, I realized that they only accept people with a master's degree into the PhD program. And even their PhD's aren't fully funded, let alone their masters. So I never even bothered finishing my application. So don't feel bad, I think an unfunded masters with some tuition reduction is the best they offer people

Does anyone know about their interview? What kind of questions do they ask? How about the chance of getting funding?

Does anyone know if caltech is yet to annouce more offers? I saw a couple of acceptances on this forum but nothing else.

So happy to be accepted! Grad GPA: 3.9. Math undergrad, and Econ grad. 1 year of RA experience.
