[Generic Waitlist] I'm also in the generic waitlist but haven't recieved a response yet, but this admit season is just outrageous! 12/15 students accepting first round offers? Even Harvard/MIT won't have this turnaround rate, just insane.

Did anyone get feedback on Funding.

Waitlisted, and I am not getting any information with deadlines coming up. Anybody accepted of the waitlist?

Response from the person who sent the waitlist email. All 12 seats have been taken. "The first round offers had their deadline at Monday, March 15. We usually get that around two thirds of those offers are declined. That did not happen this year. 12 has already accepted to join the program. That has never happened before and was a complete surprise to us. Based on this knowledge I am sorry to inform you that we unfortunately will not be able to give you an offer. I am sorry to bring this message."

Does anyone know if they offer funding to all candidates?

Is there anyone who is going to decline his/her offer from UC Riverside, Houston, Syracuse or University of Georgia? Thanks in advance.

I had my interview back in late February. They might send a couple of more offers to the people who have been interviewed, I guess, although some offers have already been sent so far. They are sending offers sequentially.

No change in Application Status so I sent a mail to the admin. Response below: "Thank you for your email. We have checked your application and can confirm it is with the Academic Department for their consideration. Once they have advised us of their decision on your application and we have processed this, we will email you to advise." Waitlist or IR? Any knowledge if they are still rolling out offers?

Has anyone declined funded offer yet? Please post if you have.

Applied to the UMD MS applied economics program on Feb 9th. Got an email from the Econ department that I was recommended. Still no decisions in the portal. They said it'll take 1-2 weeks since the recommendation (back on March 7).

[NOT WL] TPB: Didn't receive any update since Feb. Was only told an preliminary assessment of application completed in Feb.

To the poster who shit on someone else's dream school: You are entitled and insecure. And If I meet you in real life I would not blink twice when reprimanding you. PLEASE TO ALL YOU ENTITLED ELITISTS: Everyone has their school of choice, for many reasons that you have no idea about. You know nothing about someone's life, so don't sit cowardly behind your screen and judge other people or undermine what could be the glimpse of joy in another person's life. That attitude is crappy and you will soon pay for it, somewhere else in life. Might be in five years or ten. Not necessarily in academia, but that kind of attitude will certainly catch up with you- and boy would you wish you had been a different person. SO next time, just post your results, comment on admissions relevant information. And avoid judging people. Good luck.
