Is anyone declining offers in these two? From the email exchange I've had with them, I think I have a chance. Thank you in advance!!

Not to pile on here, but at this point there's very little reason to still have more than one offer. Most visit days have happened, and there's been lots of time to talk to faculty and current grad students. Figure out what your dominating offer is, reject the others, and sit back for the waitlists.

Domestic student rejected with no reasoning. Already accepted an offer with funding from a competitive Canadian school.

Just declined an offer from Pompeu Fabra (BGSE PhD Track). Had guaranteed funding only from year 3 onwards and got better offers. Good luck to those waiting to hear back from them.

I am curious about the profiles of students who got accepted this year.

So no one got accepted to this program? Tough year I guess. I know I don't have the strongest profile but I am surprised at some of the rejections. Maybe they have limited spots this year?

Can't believe it. I have over 18 months of research experience and the highest GPA in my undergrad econ program. Completely crushed

I feel they did not make decisions based on academic achievements...I was the top student in a Canadian university... what I could have done more...

TPB: Thank you for your guidance. I am an international student looking at QS rankings. Missouri is around 300 and UC Riverside is around 400. I find both the departments to be good. Are there any other rankings that I should be looking at?

[Not Interview] TPB: I wonder how someone with such little sense of optimization got through Economics PhD at Cornell, Columbia and (prospectively) Duke in the first place

Was excited to received the congratulatory email. But had to decline due to lack of funding or financial aid. Best of luck to others.
