Graduate School Admission Results

"Rolling rejections" - if you look at last year, they sent out several every day for a week or so. It's not hard to look back to last year's results to see what to expect. At this point NYU has sent acceptances and wait lists, so if you haven't heard anything you're almost certainly rejected.

to the poster below, got email "I am pleased to acknowledge receipt of your application for September 2016 admission to the MA program in Economics at The University of British Columbia. Admission and funding decisions will be made in the mid-March to early-May period."

Has USC finished announcing? I've only seen a couple of accepted people and a bunch of reject postings and I haven't received anything so i wonder if everyone else is just waiting around like me. nothing was on yousc site for me

To the poster below, I sent them an email requesting to speed up the process for my application. I received an automatic reply mentioning that the first cycle of admissions is going to be announced in the 14 -18 March week.

To the poster below: At least I got an e-mail asking to check the website. Letter was attached to the web portal. Probably that is why people wrote website as the source instead of e-mail.

"I regret to inform you that... This year we received almost 800 applications and were only able to accept a small number of students across the various fields of study within the school."

Are there a good amount of waitlisted students going to the accepted students day? Do they accept many off the "priority" waitlist? Any insight is greatly appreciated! Thanks
