I got rejected last year, finally it worked out!

To the poster below who got in after a second attempt, may you kindly and briefly share what sort of adjustments you made to improve your application for your second attempt? Thanks!

Dear fellows... What was your stipend (excluding summer). I have read 24, 28 and 32k.. Is possible such difference?

Rejected by the safety school. Doesn't matter.

My application is not considered. according to LMU "qualification of my bs in economics degree, in terms of content and method, is not equivalent to the bachelor’s degree in economics at LMU"... at least it is sufficent for much better places

To the poster below, I also had not heard from UMich until I called to ask about my status. They informed me that I am on the waitlist, as I assume you are as well. I was not given information about their visit day -- assuming they just don't have waitlisted applicants visit. Hope this helps, I would still encourage you to contact the department to find out about your status.

Received an email from Maryanne. She claimed that they will be announcing the results soon. For those waiting, the wait is almost over. Congratulations to those admitted.

Unconditional offer but will likely reject.

Had my interview today and less than an hour after received an email with the acceptance! Excited but I now have to choose between UCLA and Georgetown.

Off the waitlist but without funding. Won't go there.
