Ignore Wl. TPB: They just need to make sure that you are serious to join them. Try to email prof Al-Hamoud and show your enthusiasm for joining their PhD program. I do not know how, but, I am sure that they have free positions every year. If you have a strong applicant, this reduce your chance as the program is based on very rudimentary knowledge of Economics. Professors are not updated enough (except for 2-3) and the quality of research is pretty low. Think carefully before joining them. Many of their PhD students have dropped out from the program in the previous years. That's the main reason why they want to make sure that you are serious to join the program. Never give up, you'll get that. But, think about that. |
