Graduate School Admission Results

To the poster below for Electrical Engineering: Hi, I was interviewed on Feb 13th, it was an academic one.....your interview was the first one or the second one?....what's the major of your application? :) And ya, all the best to all who still are waiting, like me.

I was interviewed March 6th, interview was just an informal discussion to get to know me better, not an academic interview and was told to expect a response by March 15th. I emailed them and was told that admissions are still reviewing applications and faculty recommendations. I am also aware that interviews have been ongoing since end of February and are still ongoing. Congrats to the students that have received final offers but, MOST students are still waiting for admissions to decide. To all my fellow posters below who are still waiting, No news might be good news, i.e. as long as you haven't received a rejection, then there is always hope of a YES! so don't lose hope yet.

In response to the Bioscience applicant below, no they have not informed me of any time frame. I have emailed them a week and a half ago without any response. I have tried calling them as well but their admissions never seems to pick up the phone or I am calling to early in their time.

To poster below concerning notification of admission. For those recently interviewed, I was told that we will know by mid to late March. However, they do have rolling admissions.

Had an awesome interview. Does anyone know when we are gonna be notified of our admission decision? This is my first choice school by the way. Really hope I get in

To the Advanced Computer applicant below: How many friends exactly were accepted? And are they in same program as you?

How many interviews are for the Master in Science program in Bioscience at KAUST? anyone has had an answer from KAUST?

I'm applying for the fall of 2018. I'm a Saudi citizen and I'm gonna graduate from an American university by the end of May. I had my academic interview almost two weeks ago, I think it went pretty smoothly though I didn't fully answer a couple of questions. Has anyone been interviewed or contacted by them? I have applied for Bioscience since September. Three weeks ago, I got an email about changing to marine science and from PhD to master. I refused that because I have already my master from USA . I am still waiting for their response. The poster below who was accepted in Bioscience. When did you get the interview?? And how many interviews? Also, when did you get the admission and who is your advisor?? Thank you

Why did they ask you to study masters rather than Phd? Have they contacted you regarding a personal interview?

I know, it's very frustrating. They have a strange application process! They interviewed me three weeks ago and no response from them yet. Did they inform you that you're waitlisted?

No They just notified me that my application is under review.

Do they usually accept Phd students first and then master's students? Is there any master's student who got accepted?
