Graduate School Admission Results

I have no idea whether there are initial acceptances plus a waitlist or only a waitlist. It seems they have sent acceptances because in the official letter (Mar. 7) they mentioned "vacancy", but I have saw no post of acceptances (only waitlists). Anyway, Georgetown is my top choice, so I really hope the waitlist will move.

Received merit aid package of $5,000 per semester (30% of tuition), which is dust compared to an offer from Yale so will probably not be going! Undergrad degree from a public university in a flyover state. Five years of work experience, including Fulbright grantee and two years at a DC-based human rights organization working on Latin America policy. Advanced proficiency in three foreign languages.

Accepted w/ no aid

no aid :/ i'm broke so probably won't happen but i'm hoping to make it work!!

Did not take the GRE. 3+ years of full time work experience in government affairs; 2 internships in state government. Awarded $25k yearly scholarship

My undegrad is meh lol but I had multiple relevant government internships, studied abroad, and know 2 foreign languages. I also participated in research, extracurriculars on campus, and had recommenders who have worked in the field so that might've pushed me over

Accepted with some merit aid and I’m very grateful for it. I applied after having lived for almost 2 years in Central Asia after undergrad doing various work and studying Russian.

With aid (still didn’t check how much). Straight out of undergrad, with one internship and on-campus extracurriculars

Gor an email to check the portal. No information about the financial aid, gonna write a letter to them and ask.

Was emailed privately February 14th about my acceptance and financial merit. Today was the official notification email by the university.
