Got mail from Gatech Academic Advisor 15 days after I mailed her stating that decision was available on the website

Email from the department to check online. It is rather strange that the department requires me to reply before Apr. 15th, but I receive the notification today. No interview and no funding. I'v rejected this admission

Shitty administration. Had to call the department secretary Janice. She said the application was declined.

Contacted POI. "You are basically on a waitlist". Anyone's gonna gives up this offer:? Though I might accept another offer right away.

Seriously, 74K/year? Is that any chance to get funding later?

got the email today, very excited! But they did not mention the funding, have to contact the prof.

To the Gatech guys below. How did you know your status. Email of website?

mailed to the mech office to know the status and they replied "Your application for admissions was declined. Your letter was written and sent on January 14, 2013. It was mailed to your address in.......". they are sending the admission decision by post !
