To anyone who got accepted, when is the deadline to submit your decision?

Interviewed by Stevens, admitted by Drexel but no funding. Guess I’m on the waiting list of the rest ones.

6/6 schools! 3.98 overall, 4.0 Spanish & 4.0 Speech Path double major, 69% verbal and 59% quant w 82% writing. Accepted into bilingual extension! Deciding between nyu & Teachers College. Is there a FB group?? Good luck to all!

to the poster who did her undergrad at Hofstra and was rejected from their grad program. lease keep your head high. I appled to 7 programs and was accepted to 6. The only rejection was the school I did my under grad at. I knew going in that a quant score below 150 would disqualify me and it did! I ended up getting into my dream program because I kept my focus on admission at ANY school that would take me. Don't give up, you are good enough to do this, but sometimes that means stretching beyond your comfort zone. Keep going!

Got an email that their was an update to my portal.

What! Accepted with $8k/yr scholarship. Happy but scared as well! First admit after 3 rejects from Cornell, GaTech and CMU.

To the people who got scholarship, congratulations! Do you guys still need to pay the tuition?

To the question below, did you mean tuition deposit? The email states: "Please note that because we have a waiting list of students for this award, we request that you let us know of your decision by submitting the nonrefundable $500 graduate tuition deposit as soon as possible." Weird that they haven't provided a definite date by which to revert. Anyone know what exactly "as soon as possible" means? I'm still waiting for my USC decision before making a decision, so have to know the date NYU expects a response by.

I meant do you get a tuition waiver? If not, how much tuition per semester or per year you need to pay? They said as soon as possible probably mean before April 15, because that is the national deadline for students to decide where they will go. They hope you can let them know as soon as possible so that other students will still have a few days before the deadline to decide.

The total tuition cost for MSCS over 2 years is around $50k, so yes, I do have to pay tuition, but reduced. It doesn't make sense for the deadline to be on 15th April having only notified me on the 12th. They wouldn't give me 3 days to decide and not mention it in the email, right? Also, the deadline to accept for international students is stated as May 1st 2018 on this page: http://engineering.nyu.edu/admissions/graduate/admitted/graduate-tuition-deposit. Nevertheless, I am asking around and going to email the department as well.

Had my hopes up based on what my advisor was telling me... this was disappointing.

No word on funding.

To the poster below, I am an EE undergrad student, focused on Communications. I applied to NYU Wireless and other Communications related groups and was accepted with no interview. Still no info on funding or who the potential advisor is.
