Emailed me that I was held on the list but now the spots available are fully filled.

Anyone got accepted to ECE PhD today? Or are they mass accepting all Master Students?

Lots of industry experience, no dice with the GPA

In January, I received an email that a Professor in Georgia Tech told me that I am one of the top batch, explained how PhD in Georgia Tech works, and asked me couple questions(whether I applied for my own school, etc). Then I got a bold rejection email. Is the previous email simply sent to a number of applicants?

You have to put a formal application in after you go to the math school to transfer to ACO.

Had good interview with POI, she seemed interested enough. Then radio silence, even no reply on Skype / mails. Saw it coming from then, got a generic reject few days ago. Good acads but no papers, i think thats the issue.

To the Georgia Tech poster below. I visited the department last week. They said they sent out most of the offers in March. However there are some faculty members who are still waiting to fill out a couple of positions. Some others are waiting to have a response on their grant proposals and, based on those responses, they could offer new opportunities. So keep reaching out to people!

Feel the gre score was a bit on the lower side,, best of luck to those who are still waiting/have got acceptance from Gatech.
