2nd interview. No decision yet.

Interviewed with Prof. Picard. The Twitter ordeal doesn't do justice to her, she is a nice human being. I am most likely getting in as the conversation was unreal and the overlap in our work is wild. All the best to all of you!

Little surprised i got in, but I think I will turn down the offer. Good luck to all who attend!

Maybe I was not worthy of it. Still being positive. I know this is not the end. The best part is somehow it taught me to work harder and be a better person. Congrats to everyone who got accepted. You won in life!

Generic, but very kindly email about rejection. "I thank you once again for considering our PhD program for your educational plans to help you to achieve your career goals. I am confident that you have many terrific opportunities available to you. I wish you the very best in all your future endeavors."

We have completed our review of all applications received for our PhD program for 2024. With much sadness, I must let you know that we are unable to admit you this year. I appreciate the enormous effort you have expended in preparing your application and in laying the foundation for graduate work. I understand the disappointment that my note brings, and I am truly sorry.
