TOEFL scores for graduate schools are like height requirements for dating -- negotiable if you are good enough on other components ;)

Email said it would be unlikely that they would be able to make a decision for those on waitlist before April 15th.

Sent email to potential advisor but get no reply; math gpa around 3.62; got one preprint ; research experience around 15 month during 2 years of mphil; That would be a TA/ English ability Interview

Some research experience. Currently writing a paper with a professor at my University

First gen nontrad transfer student graduating from prestigious, rigorous liberal arts college. 1 year of research + 6 years of relevant job and teaching experience. Strong LORs from alumni. No email, like everyone else, just checked the portal and saw a status update.

It would have been nice to hear something before April 15. B.S. at big state school (research university), unknown for math. Undergrad research, no publications.

No update between submission and today (4 months later) except for an email in February which seemed to imply an offer was forthcoming. I received an offer with funding from Oxford who were much more prompt and professional in communications- so this is no great loss. Since Cambridge claim all offers will be made by the end of April I encourage anyone still awaiting a response to check their applicant portal.

After 6 months???!!!!!

TTPB: How were you notified about the rejection?

South American student, ranked first in my class

Sent an email and was notified they do not plan on making any new offers. We shall get our rejection next week.

Was offered admission (with funding ) into the ECE department. Which I turned down earlier so this was expected.
