Fucking Columbia! You made me wait for nothing!

I waited this long for a freaking email to check my status on Apply Yourself. You'z gotz to be kiddin' me!

Well after the acceptances last week we all sort of knew...

Five rejections so far. Six applications to go. I don't know why this is happening to me?? My only problem is lowish GRE scores....but everything else should meet their qualifications. If they are just rejecting me b/c of my GRE scores that's stupid. Years and years of work....and then ONE low test score and that's it??? By the way, I have two master's degrees....so that should count for something!!

An email directing to the website. i thought i could at least be referred to the master's program...sigh.

Dude I was rejected. It's been way to long since accepts went you. I'm declaring it. I mean, a solid program, but 22K to live in Manhattan? "Hey what kind of car do you drive?" "I don't drive a car and I can't afford to eat out, I do polsci at Columbia." A conversation I WONT be having.

Columbia (see below), NOT British Columbia. 22k in British Columbia is enough to hire live in help.

I am not sure what the post below meant. Does that mean that acceptances have gone out? Also, no one drives in Manhattan...

Called and asked. All acceptances and waitlists are out. As expected.

Mass email. I didn't see it until today and assumed I had been rejected!

personal email from the dean. Fedex package with funding details to follow but includes stipend, tuition waiver, health insurance, housing, etc. YAY!!!

I can't for the life of me figure out whether rejecting Michigan would be better, or rejecting Chicago? Anyway weather must be pretty good up there in Ann Arbor. Congratulations Michigan!

Who needs New York and Chicago when you have the lovely and dynamic (with "dynamic" being defined as a function of corruption, crime and poverty) city of Detroit in your very own backyard! Go Michigan!
