Graduate School Admission Results

To the Australian post below, yes in unimelb we don't have honorr for my major (physics and maths).But some faculty members from my uni told me it should be fine, honors in melbourne is like coursework master in UK. Where did you know the minimum requirements for Australian schools though?

HCP applicant. Not surprised given how competitive Stanford is, but a little disappointed as I thought I may have a chance. Ivy League engineering grad. Good recs and some research/project experience but no publications.

To the unimelb poster below, I found that out in the international qualifications for postgraduate degrees page for Cambridge, where it says minimum requirements for an australian degree is a four year honours degree. And I think this is the reason i've been on GAO for more than 3 weeks, since the grad office does not think I have the minimum requirements.

Initially applied for a PhD but they accepted me to the Masters program for a 1 year transition to the PhD program :)

Bye, dream school. Asked me to check the application portal for the decision.

Told to check website for decision. Undergrad in Engineering from NZ university, decent but not perfect GPA, GRE, and LORs. Bit disappointing for me, but congratulations to those good enough to get in!

Expected. My research interests didn't quite fit with the department. It is better to receive an explicit rejection rather than being waitlisted indefinitely.

See quite lots of offers of this program... Just wondering that if there are still other "under review" people like me...?

Generic rejection.. This rejection is really painful cuz I got rejected from the girl yesterday. Rest is only one... Hopefully...
