To the poster who has recently been admitted from the wait list by Chicago, did you get funding? What did they tell you in the email? More relevant information is appreciated. Thanks!

Was on the waitlist, e-mailed Marjorie, here is the sad news: I have just been advised that our Admissions Committee has closed the admissions process for the fall 2009 PhD Program. Unfortunately, we are not able to make you an offer this year. That is the say, noone seems to be getting an offer off the waitlist
