although i didn't get an interview and this was expected, i didn't even get an email to check status like the person below me. had to check portal link from the last time i applied

Got email to check website for update. Was expecting this since i did not receive interview invite.

To the poster below, how were you notified?

Anyone else still waiting to hear back from NYU? I interviewed during the second weekend. I know they interviewed a good chunk of people and some have already been accepted, just wondering if I'm waitlisted or denied. I emailed the program a few weeks ago and didn't receive a reply.

So excited!

I received an email from a professor I interviewed with but wasn't my faculty contact. It was clear from his wording that he thought I was already told of my acceptance, and he confirmed that he assumed my contact already reached out and he wasn't supposed to be the one to tell me XD. To anyone that hasn't received any notice yet, no need to panic! It looks like some of the faculty contacts haven't reached out to their interviewees yet.

Received an email saying there was a "change" made to my application and that I will receive an official letter outlining this change within 1-2 business days. Says "Update Pending" on the SPIRE login page.
