Graduate School Admission Results

With $20k research assistantship + tuition waiver. Must confirm or reject offer by Feb 11. Hooray!!

Phone interview happened on 1/24/2013. Was told a decision would come soon.

I am so sad. I have so much experience in the field, with 3.5 gpa and average GRE. My 9th rejection.

Received email today. Sadly no funding package. A bit surprised to be accepted but happy nonetheless.

Was sent an email saying that my application has been refered for admissions. I almost forgot that I applied here. This is rather late.

Very later- after the 4/15 deadline. Hope they informed those who were accepted earlier. I also heard they only sent out 4 total acceptances out of 90+ students. (Less than more competitive schools). They must have only 1-2 slots.

Oh well... Maybe they'll accept me off of it...

I send an email and got the following reply: "The PhD Program admissions committee is in the last stage of finalizing decisions for the top group of finalists. Needless to say, we had an exceptionally strong, competitive pool of applicants vying for 4 PhD slots this year. Unfortunately, your application did not make the final cut. Your Admission Status is also posted online (top of page) via your Grad. Application submitted prior to the 12/31/11 deadline.Thanks for considering the PhD program at UCSF. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors!"
