Graduate School Admission Results

It was an accidental acceptance. I got accepted last year but rejected the offer. This year they offered me 28k and then shortly after the grad coordinator contacted me to say they realized my application was for last year.

It was surprising for me to get rejected as I already received a much better offer.

GPA is grad. 2 years of RA, 2 publications. Dream school but to be honest not a perfect fit for research interest, so not totally unexpected and not so sad. Good luck to all accepted!

How probable is it to be a/r/wl after been invited for interviews at US universities?

Is there anyone who did not hear anything back from Zurich?

I might ask them for a faster waitlist decision, don't know if it will help though. I have other offers

TPB: If you look through past years results on Gradcafe, I think this is true. The waitlist seems to be rather short (compared to number of admits, rejects and to other unis) and also most of those waitlisted initially later posted that they got rejected. If you have another option, you might at least want to prepare yourself that you have to take it.

GPA is graduate (Distinction from UK MSc Econ). I read in econjobrumors that chances of being accepted from Zurich's waitlist are super low. Any clue if this is true?
