TPB: What do you mean by "don't receive the GSE" ?

Did anyone hear back from Stern's Econ program?

I will reject the offer if i don't receive the GSE

GPA is grad. Absolutely crushed, this was a top choice for me and a perfect fit. 1a/1w/9r/4ir/11p

To those admitted: Congrats, but is any of you thinking about rejecting their offer at all? Or are you definitely going to attend? I would be very grateful for any information about this to assess the chances regarding the waitlist. Thanks very much!

Poor GPA and no GRE, but good recs & 3 years of work experience abroad w/ the UN. Received a call from the head of the program telling me to expect an email with the official acceptance later this week.

It was an accidental acceptance. I got accepted last year but rejected the offer. This year they offered me 28k and then shortly after the grad coordinator contacted me to say they realized my application was for last year.

It was surprising for me to get rejected as I already received a much better offer.

GPA is grad. 2 years of RA, 2 publications. Dream school but to be honest not a perfect fit for research interest, so not totally unexpected and not so sad. Good luck to all accepted!
