Graduate School Admission Results

Got mail to check decision on you.usc portal. The portal displayed academically eligible.

Undergrad from a not well known european university with GPA german equivalent (2.2). 1 Great Internship. Wrote a good essay and letter of motivation. Admission offered with condition to take german language in the first two semesters.

To the question below I applied in end of Jan, Got 73 in the aptitude assessment, scores between 50 and 70 have interview , below 50 rejected

Didnt get an email. Checked the portal and rejected. Was a longshot anyways.

Top 5% of my class, first class degree (>85%), two internships (one in Data Science research), 3 strong LORs, a lot of extracurricular activities. Didn't expect this, especially as I got into ETH (no scholarship though :( )

Finally an admit! 2 years work experience at Adobe. I international research internship. 1 industrial research internship at Adobe Research. Good letter of recommendations ( I guess ). Waiting for scholarship decision.

73% , no gre, 7 band in IELTS, no research, no publications, done some courses in Coursera and submitted to them

Emailed to check portal, standard rejection letter

8.85/10 GPA top of class. 4 years working experience in CS. TOEFL 107. No GRE. Strong LORs.

Econ & poli sci undergrad from top university, three years doing quantitative social science work as an RA since graduation. Strong LORs I think.

To the posters below who received offers, when is your deadline for deposit? Congrats!!

I was one of the below posters with a 3/22 acceptance. To answer the Q on deposit deadline, I was given exactly 1 month until 4/22 to decide. Have not yet heard back from any other programs I applied to, just to understand all my options will wait and see, but NYU was one of my top 2 choices and will most likely accept the offer.
