Did anyone hear from the Data Science Institute at Columbia University for their master's application?

I have been interviewed on 12th March and received a system generated mail saying that will get the result by Mid of March. Anyone who has been interviewed on 12th March got the result? Also, have anyone received the rejection mail so far.

4yrs work ex, only professional lors, top tier undergrad college to the other folks accepted into the program : is the acceptance deadline for you at March 25 (with the significant deposit !)?

Got update on Quest. CS undergrad, GRE - 314, TOEFL - 106, 2.10 yrs Software Engineer experience.

TTPB: NYU is very popular mainly due to some very well recognized professors like Yann Lecun and Kyunghyun Cho. It is very unlikely as a Master student to do research with them (they will probably work only with PhD and post-docs). Also, maybe you would see only 2 courses with them; the rest of the course would be given by professors that you have probably never heard about. If you look at the statistics, mathematics, and computer science rankings in USNEWS, you\'ll see that Columbia is better ranked than NYU in all categories. Also, if you search," AI research index 2019 medium" on google, you'll see that Columbia has a higher AI research index than NYU. For me, Columbia is a no-brainer.

TOEFL: 109 Was expecting good news from this university. Well I guess I just have to wait for others.

Email received about the rejection. Comments mentioned that the applicant pool was too competitive. Also expected outcome because TOEFL score was 97. Not meeting the minimum of 100 criteria. Good university, great program.
