Rejected. Phd in civil engineering, 3.8/4.0 GPA. One of the main reason is did not take data structure courses before.

Biology graduate, took bunch of compsci courses. 4 yrs of work experience in IT sector.

Strong academic background, SoP and LoRs. 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist with lots of achievements in the job.

To the poster below for MSc Social Data Science - did you interview, and if so when?

Hi, anyone applied to this new program? I did not receive any response from it and also no interview invitation. I see there is someone here admitted. Does it mean that I would be rejected? I'm so sad.

Hey, I think it depends on which application you applied for. If you applied after 17 Nov you would be considered under the January window and will only receive notifications for Interview or other statuses 4-5 weeks after Jan. I applied under the first window and only received interview news 4 weeks after the Nov deadlines. Best of luck!

For the poster below for social data science: so you have not been admitted yet? And just got an interview invitation now? Because I see your poster shows "accepted" but you words show you just got an interview news. I am confused. Thank you so much.

Hi, so the timeline is as follows: Applied for before Nov Deadline 1st week of Dec: Invitation for Interviews 2nd week of Dec: Interviews 3rd Week of Dec (this week): Offer email I'm currently studying in one of the top 5 UK universities; did a few research projects and a overall first class (average around 85).

To the person below: Don't get disheartened yet! Application season doesn't end until the end of Jan/Feb for the course! The admissions team are off on Christmas break until Jan, and they mentioned that they will still continue to email out results by then! (for the nov window)

To the MSc Social Science of the Internet person below - we're in the same situation! I also had an interview and was told I'd hear back this week, but no response yet.

I see there is someone admitted already. I wonder if I have not gotten an interview yet, would this mean I have no chance now?

I accepted without interview. I guess people who have no news may still have a chance as I see someone is rejected already.
