Wowww. Awesome! Saw a bunch of people posting about their Stanford Graduate Fellowships, so I assumed I was rejected. But this is fantastic news. They're also offering me about $80k/per year for the first two years.

@Stanford poster below: "$80k/per year" I'm assuming this is a typo? Did you mean something else?

I was about to post something about it too lol the stipend is NOT 80k. It's about 39k / yr for 3 years. 80 includes tuition and such.

To the poster below, did the status on the website change ? Did you also earn Stanford Graduate Fellowship ?

3.97 GPA, great research (but paper in progress not published), but PGRE only 750.

Was told they are about a month behind from last year.....

Do you mean they won't be able to send out offers until late Feb or early March.....

I heard that the open house is early march, so I expect that it at least comes out before this month. Still, it is very weird.

When did you ask? I thought a few days ago someone said they were trying to send out offers this week.

Great letters, great personal statement, lots of research experience, top undergrad school for physics. So pumped!!

CMT with hint on QI in SoP. Good major GPA among my class, excellent recommendations, 2 years of irrelevant UG research. One summer in Caltech and one quarter in University of Washington.

AMO. Fellowship for the first year.

The application status didn't change from 'submitted', but found a letter with the decision once I clicked on the application. Be sure to check the application itself. Best of luck to everyone!

There is no link to an admissions decision. Probably a bad sign...
