Graduate School Admission Results

On my birthday, no less.

Can't say I'm surprised at this point. Better luck next year :)

Email to check the portal. Had assumed this would be the case, surprised I didn't hear earlier.

Phone call notifying me of phone interview. Seems so late in the game, but I'm not complaining.

Application elevated for admission, pending final approval and offer by the graduate dean. Stoked!

Had to email admissions asking about my status before they sent me notification.

It is with regret that I write to inform you that you have not been accepted for graduate study at the University of California, Berkeley. The UC Berkeley campus has a strict enrollment ceiling, and we are thus very limited in the number of new students we may admit each year.
