CERN internship, Good GPA. No publications.

2 years relevant corporate work experience (but no publications and research experience). Decent GPA but not top 20% of graduating class.

Top 20 American University, 2 Excellent letters of rec, first author paper

Rejected by email. They told me that they'd send me an official letter in the mail. Why the frick would I want an official rejection letter after receiving the email? Honestly, the ETH application is the most confusing and time consuming out of all of them.

From unknown Eastern European university, good GPA (9.61/10), 2 internships, won some prizes (from competitive programming contests and open source contributions), teaching assistant for a couple of courses, no papers.

Quite poor overall GPA, no research experience, although above average grades in Computer Science courses, coming from the most recognized French Grande Ecole and having won prizes in mathematical and competitive programming contests.

ESOP and MSP application rejected. Admitted to the MSc program though.

Has anyone from CS receieved a positive answer for their ESOP/MSP application?

Applied to ESOP/MSP, accepted to MSP. No interview. Undergraduate from HIT, China. Several Chinese offer holders also reported MSP acceptances today, looks like ETH raised the number of scholarships this year.

European bachelor's degree with two strong letters of recommendation. Did not do a GRE.

Costing me up to £200 to submit the applications and carry out all the postage - I had one year experience as Scientific Software Engineer at STFC. Also predicted first class
