Did anyone else receive a decision from Michigan?

UM had a really difficult situation with admits this year as they had to cut the entering class by half, they made it clear that they wish they could admit all interviewees. Going to hope for the best here (this is my first choice), but still grateful I was considered at all.

If you are not planning on attending, let them know! It's one of my top choices and I'd be absolutely thrilled to get in off the wait list.

So absolutely elated, this is my top choice! Still waiting to hear about funding decisions, and have one more school to hear from. I think I will accept, but only funding will tell. Also, my portal was never updated, even at this point, so don't rely on those too much y'all!

The whole process from submission to decision took approximately 2 weeks

Received my ID on Jan 14. Had a preliminary interview with a potential supervisor in late December.

I was already in contact and have a close relationship with the professor who would have been my supervisor so I was notified prior to the official letter. It was all due to the lack of funding, so I wasn't surprised. Just an unfortunate year to be applying. I completed my undergrad here in anthropology and have an international master's in anthropology.
