Graduate School Admission Results

Gave admits to mediocre profiles and rejects to the better ones thereafter

I got an email requesting information for my Student Visa and the email had a line that the Letter of Acceptance will be provided by the Graduate office. Does this mean I'm definitely in? My status is update pending on the portal

03/18 Under Review Your application has been forwarded to the graduate faculty in your desired program of study for their consideration. The Graduate Admissions Office is awaiting the conclusion of that review process and the program committee's recommendation in regard to your admission. Depending on the size of the applicant pool, it typically takes six to ten weeks from the application deadline for the program committee to communicate their admissions recommendations to the Graduate School. In turn the Graduate Admissions Office makes decision letters available in SPIRE within 4 business days of the receipt of admission committee recommendations.

To below posts: My status is also "Application Under Review". No communication. TTPB with transcript question: I also realized in January that there was nothing under "Unofficial Transcripts Received" section. I wasn't sure if I had uploaded the transcripts with the application. So I uploaded it separately and I could see "Received" under that section a few days after that. It's quite possible that we were able to submit the application without transcripts. I was also surprised and still don't know if I actually uploaded the transcripts with the application.

I am the poster with the "Update Pending" TTPB: I found the status change as I was randomly checking

TTPB: I can't be 100% sure but I am pretty confident that I did. Would I have been able to submit the application otherwise?

TTPB: Did you submit your transcripts during submission of application?

Did anyone else receive an email from UMass asking for their transcript to complete their application?

Mine is still "As of 03/18/2020 the status of your application is Application Under Review." Have sent an email to the office but no reply at all... any CS PhD applicant already got their results?
