Any updates ?!!!

Any one knows when KAUST results for masters- fall 2014 will be declared?

What the hell is kaust doing? why does it take so long to release the result? I have waiting for almost two months since personal interview. Damn it!

I didn't receive anything yet ... Not sure if their week starts on Sunday or Monday ... lets hope tomorrow be the beginning of the week and lets see if there is anything new.... have you contacted them any near time? I contacted them last Monday and as usual applications under review!!!

Any updates regarding computer science ? they take long time to process applications.

Applied for ms/phd on 15th Jan. Had nothing untill 4th Apr. Asked for my app status, they answered waiting for official Toefl score from ETS (OMG). After hell-slow reporting service of ETS, received an email, saying that my app was changed to ms only by request of faculty, on 14th Apr. Received another email for arranging an interview on 16th Apr. Had an academic interview via skype for 30min, today 17th Apr. Deeply hope that they still have unfilled openings for me...!! I should have contacted them much earlier... :(

To the poster below, had they conducted any skype interview for Indian students for fall 14. If yes then when they conducted..Coz I did not recieved any interview call by the kaust ppl.

To the guy below. The interviews for Indians is conducted via skype only. The applicants from India have not been called to Istanbul like the other countries. I am not sure why. Maybe bcos of the distance. I did both my interviews via skype.

Anyone from india who got notification about when the interviews are going to be conducted..??

I still need to get a minimal TOEFL of 79. My score now is 78...

Hard to choose

Ive been interviewed in Istanbul. It was a good 30 min interview. Academic interview was done on 20 Feb. Nothing else to do now except to wait

I think the person who got rejected has every right to express his anger, especially if he feels that the selection was biased. To the person who is objecting below, try to familiarize yourself with the phrase “freedom of expression.” Unless of course you come from a backward close-minded society.

Called up my Prof (El Sayed) and he told me that professors have no say in admission. They only check your academic side and they recommend you for 2nd interview. So all those who have been accepted by their professors are lying (*Post below*). Many people fail the second interview which is the most critical one. My Prof knows for a fact that many of his selected students were rejected because they were not socially adaptable or up to the social standards. So good luck to all those still waiting for decision and do not be fooled by people who claim acceptance just by talking to professors.

To the Mechanical PhD candidate below, sorry to hear that. Did they send you an official rejection letter? Did you go through the interviews? Best of luck in other schools

Absolutely ridiculous excuse to reject, “you have over represented our diversity quota.” I am better off to States. I am from Pakistan by the. Proud to be one.
