Graduate School Admission Results

I have a Master's GPA of 3.56/4 (equivalent to 16.32/20) and one year of relevant work experience. I received an email from the professor I mentioned in my application and Statement of Purpose on December 17, inviting me for an interview scheduled for January 2. On January 3, I received an email from the university confirming my acceptance into the program.

Provide an email from the professor I mentioned in my SOP and application, inviting me for an interview on January 2nd, followed by an acceptance email from the university on January 3rd.

Received informal Zoom meeting request from professor in department. No offer or formal interview yet. Applied to both Materials and Applied physics programs

Interview in early November. I have external funding so did not apply to any TA/RA.

Unfortunately, I was admitted to thesis-based masters instead. They also generally require masters for PhD admission. The PI already warned me about the funding situation before applying. Shucks to be me.

Accepted for Non Thesis MS without Funding

Just wanted to let ya'll know decisions aren't over. The PI emailed me yesterday to let me know he was still reviewing my materials and I'd hear back soon.

No funding has been provided yet.

Interviewed with PI and got accepted letter a week later.
