Rejected. Found it on Quest (no email notification). Had 77% undergrad and 85% MSc average. My MSc thesis deals quantum information (quantum error correction codes) and I taught myself the entire branch of quantum computing in a few months (which were hectic). Didn't publish any papers (which is the only negative aspect in my opinion). Nonetheless, best of luck to all of you!

Applied to the Applied Physics - Quantum Computing and Devices track. Got an email with my conditional acceptance letter. The condition for full acceptance is that you obtain your bachelor's before enrollment. Awaiting for the scholarship decision. That comes independent of the admission email, and I've heard comes around the end of Jan-Feb beginning. I believe it's a rolling admission process, so submitting early gets you in early.

Apparently I am not qualified for their program. In their requirements, they mention a degree in physics or electrical engineering. Whereas I have done Engineering Physics from one of the old IITs in India, and I have had experience in both physics and electrical courses through my curriculum! Why don't they clearly mention the requirements so we can save money on the application fee?! Instead of just mentioning a one liner requirement. Totally aghast after such a long wait

From a top uni in Finland. GPA 4.98/5. No GRE. Background Physics and Mathematics. Approximately 1.5 years of research experience (study program 3 years). Doing thesis on quantum tech. 1 publication first author in a high-impact journal. ESOP requested. Had ESOP interview on last Monday. However, I think I did it pretty badly. Shout out to people who will get it.

Indian undergrad from one of the top 5 IITs. CGPA: 8.7/10. 1 year of research experience including one foreign internship related to quantum technology. Besides, quantum tech, I also had experience in electrical engineering as required by the program. No publications. Good grades in all quantum physics related courses. Decent SoP. Strong LoRs (I think). TOEFL 113/120. Quite disappointed, trying to figure out what went wrong.

application meets all admission criteria. Put on a electronic board internally for faculties looking for recruiting students. Application will be processed further only after a supervisor is identified.(because of financial reasons).
