Psychology Graduate School Admission Results

Quant GRE 149. I was not admitted due to my weak academics. They suggested taking specific stats classes as non-degree student to increase my changes the following cycle since my professional background was solid. I learned about the rejected when I contacted the Graduate Director and they answered Jun 24th, but the official rejection email was sent July 3rd. I was accepted elsewhere after this.

I received the NSERC PGS-D on April 17, 2025. Where I received 120 000 over the next 36 months of my doctoral program.

I got an email with the standard "we had many applicants, you were not admitted, best of luck" text. This is the latest notification I got from any of my schools. Applying to this program felt like a rollercoaster, because I was not given updates until I reached out and there was confusion of if my application was actually reviewed (it was now).

4 years experience working with disabled children Top 5% graduating class

Didn't take the GRE, involved in 2 research labs, presented 1 poster, 3 strong letters of recommendation from Psychology PhD professors I worked with in undergrad.

Concentration in Forensic Psychology

Just a solid 2 weeks after April 15th, they sent me an email that a decision had been made. Checked the portal and...the dreaded one sentence rejection. Undergrad GPA: 3.6, Grad GPA: 4.0.

Has anyone heard back?

They asked me to send a continued interest email, which I did. In the reply they mentioned that I'll hear back by the end of May or early June.
