TTPB: Just out of curiosity. Anyone from UCSD who got an admit and had an interest in non-learning fields like systems, networks, HPC, theory. I think they asked to mention the depth specialization or at least people would have mentioned that in their SOP or their POIs.

TTPB discussing whether the admits are over - well, they can't be so soon. Based on the admission stats from previous years, they extend many more offers compared to MS programs from other unis. I have two friends studying there who got admitted last year in late March and early April respectively. So keep your hopes up, a lot of time left. :)

Hopefully someone with better offer would release their space. Really appreciate that!

Oh my god... I am so relived right now. This is my first acceptance! one published short paper, 4 years work experience in Air Force, and Master's degree in Computer Science. My main research area is NLP! Finger crossed >

TTPB: no decision has been made. So I guess it's just a common status which may suggest my materials are complete and ready for making decisions later.

When can we expect the next wave of admits for the MS CS program?

Hi guys! I checked my UCLA application portal today and found it changed. All my material records were gone, like before there were items showing when my LoR's and SoP were received, but now I only saw a record of application fee. Just wondering if this happens to every one? Or does this status mean something about my admission decision? Thanks in advance.

TTPB: I think that is probably the case. By this time last year, almost all of the acceptances had gone out.

TTPB: Congrats! So my GSMS portal got updated shortly after. However just today I got an email with the departmental funding letter saying that FSGR was still processing. But I have been able to see the FSGR admission on the portal for a while already.
