Graduate School Admission Results

**Attention Plz** Hey folks, some random dude posted TWO posts on Mar. 2 saying I got REJECTED.... And he also posted MY YouTube video link in his posts without my permission which is unacceptable (I believe this is the same guy who has posted a racist comment on my video before). I will be working closely with the GradCafe team to crack him down. And an update: I did NOT get rejected but still waiting for the decision. And for those of you who wonder about how you will be notified when there's a decision being made: there will be an email with the title 'You have a status update' from the admissions office and then you should be able to check it out on the portal. Heyy guys I was just wondering if any of you know when we are supposed to be hearing back from Columbia for F21 Data Science. Has anyone heard back so far?

Full Profile: MS in Mathematics (4.0), MS in Statistics (4.0) Global Leaders Fellowship 7K/y, renewable for one additional year. No GTA/GRA offer.

CS undergrad at a Chinese university. The rejection letter (PDF on portal) said the following: "Thank you very much for having applied to our University. We regret to inform you that your application to the Data Science MSc programme at ETH Zurich has not been successful. Attendance of this Master's degree programme presupposes basic and subject-specific knowledge and competences (discipline requirements profile). A very good performance in the preceding degree programme is also required. An examination of your dossier by the Admissions Committee of the degree programme indicates that your performance does not sufficiently fulfil the criteria set out in the discipline requirements profile." I think it could be because my background and finished courses don't sufficiently match the requirements of data science (my research experience is in computer systems). Best of luck to others.

TTPB Not sure. Very surprised that I got an answer given the Jan 31 deadline, esp compared to when people seemed to be getting offers last year. Might decline even if i dont get other offers before the 2 weeks is up

To the (Data Science) poster below: Are you planning on accepting? I'm a little hesitate about paying 30K for a 10-month program, and certainly don't like having to make a decision so early...
