Electrical And Computer Engineering Graduate School Admission Results

I still haven't heard anything regarding my application for Computer Engineering. Grad admissions said that it's still under review. I'm guessing it might be a waitlist? This is kinda ridiculous

Graduated from Bilkent University (Turkey) - Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 2.84/4 GPA. ECTS credits for each subject requested by the RWTH, easily satisfied. The program that I applied for is Systems and Automation. However, RWTH offered conditional admission to the program and wanted me to take 3 undergrad courses, which I think it is related to the topics covered in the courses that I took during my BS studies (not related to the letter grades). No details about my undergrad academic studies and recommendations from professors are included in my application.

Generic rejection. Applied Electromagnetics. 2 research papers. 2 very strong LOR. One from the president of EM society. Similar interests.

Anyone confirmed to receive funding? I haven't heard of anything since I heard that they are selecting funding candidates. SSE track.

TTPB- Congrats on the UCSD admit. Can I ask when you submitted your application because someone told me UCSD has rolling decisions

CV/ML/DS Track International pubs, LoR from Prof from MIT Media Lab. Not sure why, terrible application season.

Ignore Waitlist. If UT Austin is unable to offer admission to a specific track - do they consider you for another one? According to the preferences you listed in the application? I have applied to the DICE track, with my second preference being the bioECE track.

TTPB: The email "Your application to the Graduate Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) has received a favorable evaluation from the admissions committee of the Architecture, Computer Systems & Embedded Systems (ACSES) track. I am pleased to inform that I have recommended to the Dean of Graduate Studies that you be admitted into our program for the Fall 2021 semester to pursue a Master's degree in the ACSES Track of ECE" I think there are still some ad this month (may be two weeks).

MASc. Interviewed w/POI in February, informal offer in March, official offer letter in April.

The mail read .. "Due to a high number of deferrals, we cannot offer admission this season.. defer for spring/fall next season ... blah blah" Man, I considered this to be a safe school.
