Graduate School Admission Results

It's definitely cheating to ask other people what questions they were asked for interview... Of course, no one can stop you from doing that. We just trust that each person goes in with their own conscience and integrity.

Does anyone know around how long the interview is supposed to take? I wasn't sure how much time I should allocate for it.

Received an email notifying that the decision has been posted to my application status page. My first admission......

Hi, I submitted my application just before the deadline and haven't receive any email yet. Should I expect that I have already been rejected?

To the one selected, would you mind disclosing information regarding whether the assistantship decision has also been given by the university.

TTPB: No, I did not have an interview. However, I had worked with my POI over the summer.

Everyone is admitted to MCS by default and everyone has the option to do a thesis for MS. No compsci degree (some computing experience in matlab and C etc). 2.5 years work experience since BA. Out-of-state for now, but in-state status for awhile before semester starts

TTPB: I was admitted a few weeks ago but put my results under "University of Illinois" and not UIUC. Idk if you are taking that into account when looking at UIUC results.

To the poster below .. I am still waiting too .. contacted the graduate admission and only told me to wait and check the portal and my e-mail everyday :/

TTPB: Exactly same question here. Seems everything is too late this year :(. It has been March and majority of my applied univs (>12) haven't yet responded.

So far I just see 5 PhD admits here, are they done sending PhD admits?

TTPB: Interviewed in late January as well as with another prof last week.

So quick. Also the mail is so convoluted to understand the I got rejected.
