MSCS, Research Based. Tier 3 Indian school, with 1.5 years of work experience in the domain I focussed on in the SoP and a Journal Paper in a decently high impact journal in a quite unrelated (yet CSy) domain

Accepted 8:15pm EST via email status update. Domestic, 3.82 GPA, no internship

I had my first interview today. It went okay, I guess. I was really nervous, but the professor was very friendly. I hope I get selected because it's rare to find such a good person.

Got accepted in the Digital Arts concentration. No interview. No GRE, GMAT, or IELTS and a 50% tuition scholarship. Received an email to check the portal

Gen-ai track. Toefl 102. 2.13 email notification (maybe pass the committee) - 2.17 poi interview - 2.27 offer

cv/cg track. Toefl 102. One preprint paper (joint-first author)

Interview in early Feb. No GRE. Received rejection letter last week.

I am a master's student in another department and have a long-standing working relationship with the professor who will serve as my advisor (TA 3x + research collaborator). Sub-field is computer vision/multimodal AI.
