Graduate School Admission Results

I'm either accepted or waitlisted, but I honestly can not tell from the email. Hard to get excited b/c I'm confused.

I'm sorry, I don't know if I'm MA or PhD myself. I have an MPhil but was told I was being considered for the MA; and the email doesn't clarify.

Applied to PhD - Accepted to MS w/ RA $14k

Admitted with a graduate assistantship and a "top-up fellowship offer based on your strong academic record and references".

Interview on Feb. 22

They had 90 applicants and had 4 positions.

Said that application is complete and adcoms will stary review applications shortly. Promised admission decision results by the end of March.

Bla-bla-blaaa. so wtf's new? i'd been bamboozled into believing that i stood a chance of admission. apllied to 11 schools, have recieved 7 official rejections, i know for certain about 2 rejections (just not official yet) and the other 2, well i suppose best case is that i'm waiting until after 04/15. KMA

No aid :-((..Letter was very plain and straight forward.

Email response to my inquiry. I wonder when I would have found out if I had not emailed....

Dear Applicant: I apologize for the delay in notifying you of your application status. Unfortunately, I have to tell you that you have been denied admission. We are working to get official letters to all applicants. You should receive a letter soon. We appreciate your interest in our program and hope that you are successful in starting a career at another choice institution.
