Hello, has anyone heard back from the MS CS program yet?

MSCS official email received at 1 pm EST.

Is there anyone else out there who hasn't heard anything back yet? At this point, is it worth continuing to keep my hopes alive?

TTPB: I applied to MS & Ph.D. programs (CS), and haven't heard anything from them yet. I mailed them about this in the last week of January and they said 'Admissions decisions are typically announced mid to late February.' But, no idea if they're just holding on to only the rejections at this point.

Confirmed by the program manager that the MCDS result will be out this Wednesday.

PhDs itself this year will not have enough funds so I doubt whether MLT would get funding preference for this year. POI informed as I have other Ph.D. offers and now will consider that strongly instead of going through the MLT-PhD route at CMU.

TTPB: MLT CMU admit, can you tell from where you have other PhD admits? As I also got MLT admit and still waiting for other PhD results. Thanks!

To the LTI poster below, could you share more light on the funding situation for MLT? I have heard that majority of MLT students get funding so it would be good to have more info if the situation is different this year.

I received Ph.D. admits from Princeton (unofficial via email from POI) and from NCSU official mail. Awaiting other results in the coming weeks. Planning to stay away from CMU's MLT program as I cannot bear CMUs tuition costs. That's all I know from the POI.

Program manger confirmed that the result is likely to be either today or tomorrow.

To the post below, is it for MS CS? Please confirm. And since the results will be out today or tomorrow, can people now login to those URLs ? (only for this MS CS program I am asking)

TTPB regarding CMU Masters notification date, do you mean MCDS or MSCS? There's an older post says MCDS will be out on Wednesday.

Does CMU send explicit wailtlist mails? Do the people in the courses where results have been announced got such mails? How do they know they are waitlisted? Thanks in advance.

MSAII GRE: V 167/ Q 167/ A 5 TOEFL: 120/120 GPA: 9.04/10 Co-author on 6 papers, lead author in one of them. I was applying to Master's because I thought I wouldn't make the cut for PhD. Oh well.

MSAII Sad but in the email it says spaces are very limited.

MSAII. TOEFL: 115(Speaking: 27) Apparently they are taking only 35 ppl this time around. Have been waitlisted by MSCV. Life is going pretty bad I guess.
