just messing with you guys, i'm still waiting too

how many MSCS students do they accept in one term? Those already admitted seems like a mixture of MCS and MSCS

fuck this school... this shouldn't be taking so long

1 year of work experience, a certificate in User Experience, no GRE, and an undergrad degree in Psychology with 2.9 gpa.

TTPB: My history doesn't show "Your application is submitted". I'm just seeing Application Checklist and Post Submission Document on the portal from past 1 month. Is anyone seeing the same? I remember submitting the application in december and have been waiting for so ...so long...

My status still says submitted as well. I think it's likely a rejection at this point, but they must still be admitting students. I don't know how it could take this long if everyone still waiting is just going to be rejected.

TTPB: I want to assume that it's a rejection.. but I feel like there were not enough posts on this forum for me to believe it, especially because a lot of them were not specified as the MCS or MSCS

Join me! UNC is the worst. I found it interesting that schools sending rejection or offer very slowly are those with poor PhD placement records, though the ranking of them is very good. Department with bad administration and do-thing-slow professors seems like just failing to cultivate good students.

At this point, should we simply assume a rejection? Also, what is the status being shown on the portal for y'all? Mine still says submitted, not in review or anything.

I was told that I ranked #8 ouf of 33 in the waitlist for UC Irvine. If you got accepted and decided not to attend, I kindly ask you to decline the offer. This is really my last hope now. I got 2 waitlist which turned into rejections two years ago. This year, I got 3 waitlist and 2 of them has already become rejections. I really don't want to have the same nightmare again. To the UC Irvine post below: Do you know your exact rank in the waitlist, and also did you receive the offer via email or checking the portal?

To the last poster, could you please tell your concentration that you were accepted to off the waitlist? Is it theory? IR? comparative? American? Any more info regarding waitlist acceptance would be much appreciated. I am also waitlisted but was told to wait in order to hear back from the department. I was waitlisted back in January
